For the newer data for 2012 figures the total LPN jobs available were reported as 738,400 and the growth rate was moved up to 25% from 2012-2020. The old number of jobs reported by the BLS was 168,500 licensed practical nurse jobs and was updated to 182,900 for the healthcare job market.
